Product Properties

Enviro-Plus Tapered is a high performance EPS insulation that offers a long-term and stable R-value, as well as having excellent dimensional stability, compressive strength and water resistant properties. These properties make it a perfect product to use in single-ply roof applications.

Applications

EnviroPlus Tapered insulation gives roofing contractors the required positive slope to drain away water while retaining the structural and economic advantages of a flat roof deck. It works equally well in either new or replacement construction. In new roofs, the roofing support columns are varied in height so the final roof deck has high and low points from which to place the roof drains. The easiest way to improve the slope of an existing roofing system is with the addition of EnviroPlus Tapered insulation underneath the membrane. The thickness of the insulation is varied to create the necessary slope.

Sizes

EnviroPlus Tapered insulation is available in 4-foot by 4-foot and 4-foot by 8-foot panels with a thickness from 1/8-inch to 40 inches in a single layer.

EnviroPlus Tapered is produced in an ISO 9001-certified manufacturing facility using state-of-the-art equipment. Its EPS core meets or exceeds ASTM C578 Standard Specification for Rigid, Celluair Polystyrene Thermal Insulation. The product's dimensional stability and compressive strengths are subject to stringent ISO quality-control protocols.
