Tri State Foam offers shape molded packaging as well as fabricated
packaging. In the shape molding process, expanded polystyrene
beads are blown into a mold cavity where they further expand and
fuse to form the exact shape of the mold. Shape molding is ideal
when large, repetitive quantities are required. We offer
engineered design assistance, as well as prototype sampling, in
developing the optimum packaging solution to meet the needs of our
customers.
Tri State also offers the option of molding with Arcel resins,
which provide a greater balance of flexibility and strength. The
resiliency of Arcel shape molded products allow for puncture
resistance and reusable packaging.
Shape molding is ideal when large, repetitive quantities are
required.
